Strawberry Shortcake Murder by Joanne Fluke

2.0

Fun enough, but too predictable for my taste. And some of the plot points were just dumb - completely ignoring how life (and HIPPA) works. I mean, really? She manages to make her whole living selling baked goods and coffee and still gets to play detective on the side, and NO ONE says a word when she blatantly breaks the damn law to “solve crimes”? The main reason for the rating is because there were several parts of the book that did NOT age well - with terms, references, and opinions that aren’t really pc anymore. I could possibly have overlooked them for a better quality story, but not this one. By chapter 5, I didn’t even care how it ended anymore. I just couldn’t get attached to the characters.
