I persevered with this as my sister gave me it to read, and I felt I should complete it.
It would have been so easy to put this down at the start as it wasn’t gripping me. I found the main character so frustrating, unlikeable and unrealistic. In fact a lot of the characterisation fell a bit flat for me.
The plot didn’t massively intrigue me and the ending was so blah-the bad guy ended up being the bad guy, surprise surprise!
I wouldn’t bother reading anything by the author again…
