I enjoyed this one a lot more than the first book, I must admit. There’s a lot more action, and you can definitely see where some of the plotline start to come together. Although at times I’m a little sceptical about George RR Martin’s writing, with the references to paedophilia and incest, I can’t argue with the fact that he is a great fantasy writer.

I’m a little sad that there wasn’t any chapters from Robb’s point of view, but I’m assuming the third book will make up for this (and we all know what happens to Robb
