I have always loved this book. It was a joy to read again - my college copy, soft silken pages, glossy paperback.
Mr Rochester had to give up much pride before he could be worthy of Jane.
Jane had her own journey to complete - finding her own family.
And Helen Burns. Oh Helen. You are one of the most tragic literary deaths. I still mourn you, decades after my first read.
