This is a fun YA romance to recommend to readers who love celebrity lives and lighthearted stories. It includes fake dating trope. The cast is diverse, and most of the story remains on the lighthearted side--with a little commentary on socio-economic differences and feeling disconnected to two cultures (MC feels like a sell-out). At first, I found the MC rather annoying and self-centered but there is definitely character growth.
