This would have been a 4 star if the ending wasn’t so abrupt and unsatisfying. The premise was SO GOOD and the lead up was phenomenal, touching on themes of interpersonal familial relationships and Korean identity. Loved the eerie vibes of paranoia and confusions and unsettling nature of the book, but i was just so upset with the last three chapters. It felt like the author didn’t know how to finish the book.
