Death at Victoria Dock by Kerry Greenwood

2.0

Phyrne Fisher comes upon the death of a young anarchist and because of his age and beauty she is determined to find out who is responsible for such a waste. This immediately puts her, and her whole household, in danger and failed kidnapping only makes things worse. She is also working on a missing person case involving a girl who wants to join a convent but her father won't allow her to.

This is an enjoyable story until the end but just when things get exciting, everything slows down for a fairy tale, which I found pointless, frustrating and does nothing to further the story. It's a real downer for me and these turns in the story line take away from what could be a better story.
