The Boulevard Monster by Jeremy Hepler
4.0
I'm once again reminded of the King quote: "All killer, no filler." This is a lean book, not a line of fluff in it. It's also a great morality play, often causing the reader to ask just what one might do if found in the same predicament.
While the titular "monster" himself leaves a little to be desired, the roundedness of our protagonist more than makes up for it. A fantastic first novel!
