The whole story was a summarised/SparkNotes version of a long book. The author tried her damn best to stuff all the necessary details and hastily rushed to the end regardless of the cohesive storyline.
Inspite of Sergei's issues, the relationship between the main characters won't even make sense. The intimate moments felt severe lacking of emotions not only between the characters but also they failed to evoke any feelings in me as a reader.
