I read this book so quickly, it definitely got me out of a reading slump I've been in for a few weeks. I liked this book! I liked the characters for the most part and thought that the conversations about religion and what is right and wrong and all of that stuff was really well done and beautiful. I think my only qualm with it is that sometimes I found the writing to be a bit cringy and basic, mostly at the beginning, but it definitely stopped being so as the book went on. For a YA book, I think the writing was really quite beautiful especially in the middle and final parts of the book Would recommend this for people, especially if you want to have conversations/read about religions and homophobia, butt be sure to check the trigger warnings as there's some pretty violent homophobia in this book.
Graphic: Bullying, Hate crime, Homophobia, Vomit, Religious bigotry, Lesbophobia, Outing, and Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Eating disorder, Self harm, and Toxic friendship
