Ooohh okay mixed feelings. At times so cringe omg but also it is a YA so cringe is natural. I can see how this book is building the world for the series, and I was definitely more invested towards the end when the plot began. I don’t love Tamlin, I find him incredibly lame and I found the

curse a bit weird like okaaay weird rule and the surely his love is also not genuine???

but it did have me HOOKED. and I will be reading the next one.
