This is definitely one of the longest, drawn out, slow burn reads that I’ve come across in a long time. The blurb sounded good and the storyline had great potential but it just fell flat after all the build up and suspense when it all came together. I found it a slog to keep turning the pages and you weren’t really given much to keep the attention other then it being drawn out far longer then needed. The characters were a little flat for me also. Likeable enough but just not much depth.
