Liars Like Us by J.T. Geissinger

4.0

If you know me, you know I don't read a lot of dark romance. I don't *usually* enjoy romanticizing obvious red flags, toxic behavior, yada yada yada...

That being said, this one really did it for me. I can't say why—maybe it was JT Geissinger's writing style, the way the female gaze was so expertly used, or maybe I was just feeling broke that week and the idea of being sorta-kinda forced to marry a billionaire sounded great to me. But no matter the reason, I can say that this book was one of the most unhinged romances I've ever read. The obvious stalking, the obsession, the lengths he went to in order to be with her—I couldn't tell if I was more shocked or into it (spoiler alert: the answer is both).

ANYWAYS, I need the next one ASAP. Like tomorrow.
