This was such a shocking book. I found the fights good and the death both shocking and well addressed. I loved the pirate academy yet I fleur line it could have been expanded upon. Yet I loved reading about the time there and how both of the twins had a similar arcs mainly able going where they needed to be.
I loved how Connor was able to grow in this and was able to let his sister go. I also like how his encounter of the Vampirate Captain went. I also love the battle in the end too and how he was about to trust the Captain.
Yet I do find it interesting that both twins seem to have powers and I am curious to see how that develops.
