Stolen Lies by Nikki Ash, K Webster

Ok the first few chapters of this book really pissed me off!!!
Literally I was so annoyed took me ages to get into it. However once you get into it and you get more of an explanation this book definitely redeemed itself slightly. I definitely still loved the Greek (sort of) mafia environment.
I way preferred Kostas to Talia in this book. I also loved how he gets on with Talia’s mother.
I was definitely invested but I wouldn’t say I was on the edge of my seat desperate to find out what happens. I felt a lot of time was wasted at the start on useless sections and then the second half of the book were definitely rushed or the same situation just repeated which I wasn’t a fan of. There were a lot of teases I felt or plot potentials that I felt could have been explored but weren’t unfortunately.
Overall, I loved the writing and the second half but it just lacked any originality for me. I’m not really sure what else to say about this book.
