Revealing the Monster by Amelia Hutchins

2.0

After finding out what Lucien was, I still maintain that this information would have made the story more interesting if we knew what he was from the beginning. When it was revealed 99% of the way through the final book, it was kinda just like, “oh…that makes sense, but like, why was it such a secret.”

When I picked up this series on an audible sale, I didn’t realize it wasn’t a standalone. While I could pick up enough in previous books to keep up with who is who, this was the first time I felt lost and struggled with piecing together what happened in the other series. While it wasn’t critical to know, it was annoying.

Finally, I kind of laughed when I read the reviews that this was just smut. But I listened to this on my hour commute, and I had a day and a half where I was in the same extended sex scenes
