I was expecting Hayley to be the second book, but apparently not.
I see a lot of Mac from the Three Sisters Trilogy in Mitch, what with the slightly off-base scholar who's so absorbed he forgets a great deal of things. A bit annoying, since I wouldn't be able to stick with the guy properly if he was like that, but he's a good guy. I wasn't expecting to hear the reason he was divorced as the reason. I was expecting something more like Logan's divorce, but this reason's really good. And it adds depth.
I loved the supermarket scene, and the bathtub scene (seriously, Amelia!), and Roz's reaction to the ghost and everything. The woman gets points for sheer guts.
