Chew, Vol. 3: Just Desserts by John Layman

4.0

Chew is fast becoming a favourite series, unlike anything I have sampled before. I love the art work and the storytelling keeps getting better and better - this volume in particular did some fantastic work with developing plots involving Mason, Amelia and John, as well as the great big mystery of POYO (I feel POYO deserves capital letters - read this volume and find out exactly why you do NOT mess with this cock). Further seeds have been sewn for future volumes (including a big old cliffhanger following a big old revelation and a big old mystery involving a severed toe) and I am well and truly hooked. Delicious.
