Sixth Watch by Sergei Lukyanenko
4.0
Anton is hands down one of my favorite characters ever. I love his view of the world and how he makes his conclusions and decisions, and many of those parts of his personality are on full display in this novel. As the final book of the series, I can see how all of his choices and everything that's happened to him has led to this point. That being said, this still felt a little off (like New Watch). Some of it felt like Anton just growing and changing in ways that I may not have liked, but part also felt like hand of author. Like in New Watch, at times I found myself wondering if this was really Anton's thoughts or if this was Lukyanenko.
Also, I hated the ending. I mean, it was good and fit the story and had good meaning, but whatever. I don't have to like it, lol.
