Oh my Goddddddddddd I am so happy this trilogy exists!

This didn't give me the roller coaster of emotions that Way of the Argosi did, but finding out exactly why Ferius actually is the way she is (and it being more than just imitating Durral/lingering trauma) was WILD, no pun intended. Also, I loooooooved all of the background we got about Rosie! Sebastien de Castell did a fantastic job threading the needle on the complexities involved in her and Ferius' unique relationship and why it is the way it is in the Spellslinger series.

Also, I will be damned if every time Ferius noticed/mentioned the stars it wasn't a subtle reference to Kellen, I know she spent the entirety of this book either in the desert or up in the mountains, but come on
