I’m kind of between 3.5 stars and 4 stars on this one.
Not my favorite book of Sandersons. Way more predictable than usual, but still an overall good read.
There were some twists including a big one I didn’t see coming so that was nice to still have.
I forgot how David acts and his humor was hard for me to adapt to at first but once I got further in and remembered it’s a fun quirk about him I had an easier time reading it.
I didn’t like that the ending went from serious situation not sure how David would get out of it to hours later they are safe and moving on. That was disappointing.
However I’m still very excited to read the next book and while this wasn’t my favorite in the series it is still a good read.
