💖🗡Enemies to lovers, fantasy romance based in Norse Mythology.

Ailsa is from a long line of shield mages, Vali is a demi god elfin trying to save his realm. He needs the 'tether' a source of power which is now housed within a mortal woman.

I really enjoyed Ailsa and Vali's dynamic and watching how their relationship changed and grew. It was interesting to have a main character that is suffering from a chronic illness that affects her every day life, adding another risk to her journey. Vali was super interesting as a man torn between two worlds, trying to do whats right for his kingdom whilst listening to his heart.  The authors writing was really rich and atmospheric and really conjures the world of the Nine Realms. Side characters were really entertaining and the plot kept moving at a good pace. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment.
