The way this book tore my heart out, repaired it, tore it out again, and repaired it is insane. I just know my book hangover after this series is going to be so bad tomorrow.

Oraya and Raihn are the ultimate power couple. That being said, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Oraya is powerful on her own without Raihn, and the author really doesn’t allow the MMC to become a “savior” of sorts to Oraya.

The FMC really goes through such a journey of growth and self discovery throughout this novel, it made me feel that much closer to her and her feelings. I found myself rooting for her the whole time and becoming so invested in her story.

Raihn. Oh my god. The have an MMC be SO badass but also so sweet and mushy for the FMC without overpowering her accomplishments is so refreshing to read. He truly is there for her, patiently waiting to be whatever she needs, whenever she needs it.

There is some spice in this book, but it isn’t a spicy book (if that makes sense). Multiple scenes, but never going on for very long or into too much detail. But, ugh, it’s still so good.

As stated earlier, it’s been 5 minutes since I put the book down and I’m already feeling the hangover. I miss these characters already.

Catch me on Etsy looking up merch.
