This is a book that's been sat on my shelf for several months, and I keep overlooking it when I go to pick out a new book to read. I don't know what made me reach for it this time, but I regret not reaching for it sooner.
Every word held me captive in this dark and disturbing world, as Alice and Hatcher travelled through the Old City. Though, I have to say that their reunion with the Rabbit felt rather underwhelming after the build up their history with him had been given throughout their journey.
