Dune: The Graphic Novel, Book 2: Muad'Dib by Brian Herbert, Frank Herbert, Kevin J. Anderson

3.0

Overall rating 2.5 stars.

The story is a faithful representation of the original, so if you are a fan of the book you should enjoy reading this adaptation. You should know this is not the conclusion of the story, so it acts as a middle book in the story.

The art for the graphic novel is a mix for me. The exterior is gorgeous, including the cover and dust jacket. The most striking part for me was the use of color. The colors bring the story to life and add another element to the art. The downside for me, in terms of the art, was the character design. While nothing struck me as wrong, or bad, the character art just didn't live up to the rest of the art or the story.
