Ain't Burned All the Bright by Jason Reynolds

4.0

If you're looking for 2020 as a work of art in book form, this book delivers. The rhythm of Reynolds' prose with Griffin's art makes for a haunting read, where I was constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. It so effortlessly captured the helpless, isolated feel of 2020 it was almost painful to read it. Well done, gentlemen.
