The few books leading up to this one had me very frustrated. It felt like Richard and Kahlan could never catch a break but this book finally tied up the lose ends. Prophecy has followed Richard through the whole series and it always felt like an enemy in itself. It was very fitting that Richard finally discovered the basis of prophecy put it to rest.
