The first book to this series is a great rendition of the rest of the Harry Potter universe. It was very light-hearted and child friendly which makes me eager to read the next books to come. It also makes me really nervous as I know the next books will lean into more darker scenes. Overall, it was a fantastic book and honestly could have been a one off book if they really wanted to. Nonetheless, it is an iconic series and I'm really excited and looking forward to reading the next 6 books as I know I will love them just as much as I loved the movies.
