lestat is one of the most complex, fascinatingly written characters i’ve ever had the pleasure of reading about. his flaws make up so much of who he is, yet he never stops wanting to be good; even when he thinks he is inherently evil. there’s much to critique about anne rice’s writing, but she did a wonderful thing bringing lestat into the world.
