Wild Storm by Richard Castle

2.0

I knew trouble was ahead when, on the very first page, I spotted a ridiculous typo, unless Storm was really wearing "hiking books." Later, an associate remarks that he would need a "loop" to examine a gem more carefully. These editing errors would be easier to forgive were it not for the numerous ludicrous plot turns. I know that this is intended to be Richard Castle's fantasy version of being a spy, and I can suspend disbelief as well as anyone, but from the very first chapter, I was turned off by the absurdity of it all. This is the first Castle book that has taken me more than a day to read, and I had to force myself to finish.
