Love, Life, and the List by Kasie West

4.0

The only reason I knocked off a star is that there is no representation of the LBTGQ+ community and nor are there are persons of colour.

Other than that, this book had everything I needed:

✔️ a slow burn romance

✔️ heartache

✔️a good friendship

✔️ parents that actually existed

Abby Turner is in love with her childhood best friend, Cooper Wells. Their other two best friends are away for the summer and so they are stuck together.

Abby makes a ‘heart list‘ in an attempt to make her paintings have more emotion and Cooper decides to accompany her and of the lost with her.

Through the book, we go on many adventures with them and it is a lot of fun to read about them.

When Abby finally decides she has had enough and she is done with Cooper and law her heart bare in front of him, I almost end up crying!

The book is very well written and I don’t want to spoil it for you all so I won’t say anything else except that this book really made me feel a lot and it was utterly spectacular!
