Unfettered II by Shawn Speakman

I only read Brandon Sanderson's The Thrill, but if the other stories in this anthology are of similar quality, then it has more than deserved its 5 star rating. I imagine I will read the rest eventually.
As for the story itself, I can say that it was an interesting experience to read a number of flashback chapters (readers of the Stormlight Archive will be familiar with those) has been noticeably different from reading them interspersed between "live" chapters. There are motifs that develop subtly throughout the entire sequence that, I think, I would've missed had I just read [book:Oathbringer|17250961]. I think it is worth going back and rereading Kaladin's and Shallan's flashback sequences from the first two books.
