What a sequel! If you loved Jude and Gen in the first novel get ready to love them on a whole new level. This novel gives us more of everything! More romance, more spice and way more action and questions answered as well as more questions to be answered! It’s so nice to see how much Gen continues to grow in power and strength as well as to see her develop as a character from a unknowing vessel to a vessel ready to fight for the world. I also enjoy seeing Jude’s character grow and having to learn to accept that Gen isn’t a vessel who needs protection but a vessel who is willing and ready to stand by him during the war that is coming. I also loved getting to know a little bit more about our side characters especially George and Kat. In this novel we get a little more backstory about Kats time in the underworld as well as how she made her escape, but we also get to see how deep George truly loves Kat and I can’t wait to see more of them in the third novel. Warning though this book does not end in a happily ever after, it ends in tears honestly!! You will need the 3rd book immediately! I can’t wait to see what’s next for Jude and Gen!
