My heart, is broken.
From the moment I picked this up I was sucked right in and I couldn't put it down. The plot of this ridiculously addicting. This is my first book by this author and to say I'm just a little obsessed is understatement.
Her MMC is just swoon worthy. Did I side eye him a little at the beginning? I sure did. However, learning his back story and everything he's gone through is heart breaking.
That slow burn be burning though. Raven, our FMC, for a lack of better way to put it really just goes through it from the start. She's thrust into a magical war without truly understanding the power within her and it is not an easy path for her.
Just perfection honestly.
