I deeply enjoyed this book, once I picked it up it was almost impossible for me to put it down. I think the only times I was able to put it down was when I had to go to work lmao.
I don’t have any qualms with this book, I almost got a Game of Thrones feel from it because of the twist & turns it seems to take. I believe all the little mysteries or details that had been brought up at some point were wrapped up well enough at the end. Although I had a feeling of what the ending would be, I can’t say it took away from the experience for me -after all Cardan being crowned made the most sense in the end even if he’s just keeping the throne ready for Oak to take his place eventually.
Anyway, I’d give this a solid 5 stars- I really enjoyed my time with this book.
