A wonderful book. A bit slow in the middle, but overall a masterclass in description and exposition and characters. I love how Jordan describes everyone. All of the main characters are distinct in their thoughts and actions. The book is specific about aspects of daily life and the ongoing effects of the political turbulence of this world on the ordinary and everyday people of the city-states and countries.
Also there is a lot of good Perrin content and I really love Perrin a lot. It is frustrating how little Rand there is, but i understand why it's organized this way. I am glad that everyone is back together again at the end. I hate to see everyone so spread out and separated.
Also, Egwene just casually discovering how to tie off weaves is everything to me.

Graphic: Confinement, Death, Violence, Blood, Kidnapping, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: War
It has a standard adult fantasy amount of injury description. Nothing extremely graphic, but they do run around hitting each other and killing each other a good bit.
