P. Djèlí Clark makes great books. I adore that this novella is ultimately a "good for her" story. An undead assassin and a girl magickally plucked from time team up to make sense of things. Endlessly enjoyable and I experienced glee from the twists and turns. Highly recommended, much like the rest of Clark's work, but this is my favorite of his so far.
