Unrequited Infatuations: A Memoir by Stevie Van Zandt

4.0

What a fascinating life Stevie has had. This book is educational, funny, poignant, and vulgar (in the best way). A real page turner of an iconic, unique artist and man.

I'd have given it 5 stars but for two things:

- Stevie's influence both musically and politicially is well-documented and important, but you'd think every good thing that happened in Springsteen's career was down to SVZ and that Mandela only made it out of prison cos of SVZ!
- You can teach girls martial arts all you want, Stevie, it won't stop rape. That bit pissed me off.

4/5.
