I love Shirley Jackson’s shorter work The lottery. This one was a bit harder to read. But I think it is well worth it. I love the characters and just how strange they are. I love the house and how
Frightening it is. And I love how different it is compared to adaptations of it in the future (Netflix). It’s also very queer which I love WLW. So good.
