I feel like the series really picks up in this book. In a way, very realistic to how quickly things change, but also incredibly unrealistic because it's a couple of days, not even weeks. This book also deals with much heavier sexual themes that are pretty quickly in your face, but also not well discussed before or after. It shocked me the first time I read it as a teenager, and it shocked me again as an adult even though I was expecting it.
