The Silkworm by Robert Galbraith

4.0

I like these books. I'm not in love with them but I do hope she continues the series. This one was much stronger than the first in my opinion, the pacing was much more fluid which was my biggest criticism of the first book. The murder was a bit gruesome but if you read a lot of crime thrillers its not crazy over the top. Strike and Robin's professional relationship matured nicely and naturally and I'd look forward to learning why Robin left school in the next book. She also stopped tip-toeing around her fiancee and it was nice to see it not devolve into a big dramatic mess. Overall: Strong character development, twisty murder mystery, good novel.
