Poppy Redfern and the Midnight Murders by Tessa Arlen
4.0
It's a light and pleasant read with a well researched historical background.
The cast of characters is likeable and the plot flows without issue.
The mystery is solid and, even if I guessed the culprit, it was an engrossing read.
I liked it even if sometimes I found it a bit too light given the historical background.
On the other side I appreciated some elements that are not typical of a cozy mystery, I don't talk about them because I don't want to spoil anything.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Edelweiss for this ARC, all opinions are mine.
