Okay, so this book was one that I picked up purely because it met one of the reading challenges for the Kindle Unlimited ribbon things. Kindle Unlimited has a quarterly reading challenge, and I've been determined to finally complete all of them this time around. Anyways I picked this one up for the Best of 2022 challenge, and I was so curious about this book because I hadn't seen anything about it until working on this challenge. I think the whole synopsis sounded really interesting. But the book ended up not being my favorite. I think I just had some really high hopes for it because I thought we were going to be centered around this big comic con thing for books. Even though we started out that way, we quickly shifted away from that. I really loved the conversations between the two main characters whenever they were texting during the recording of the book. But things just kept swiveling away. There were a lot of heavy topics in this book, and I just felt like so many things were happening that it was hard to focus on one thing. I kind of lost track of things because I just wanted to get back to Sewanee's relationship. I just don't think this book was for me. It wasn't a bad book, and I really liked the romance, but I just kept getting pulled out of it because there was so much going on around it.
