This was an unexpected enjoyable read! When this was first chosen for book club, I didn’t think this would have much depth and I was wanting something that I could clasp onto I think - but I was pleasantly surprised! This is a black comedy with really serious undertones of what women experience and at times it was brutal to read in more ways than one.

As always, I saw ‘twist’ in some of the reviews for this book and instantly I was excited, but I was left - not disappointed, that’s definitely the wrong word - but a little ‘oh‘ to the end - basically I need to accept that twists for me are different to other people’s twists 🤣

All in all, I really enjoyed this book. I really liked Kitty Collins’ character and the way this book tackled really uncomfortable and horrible subjects, and packaged them up in a weirdly light hearted way. I also really liked some of the other side characters who I shan’t name here due to spoilers. The final page of the book was just what I wanted, please tell me there’s another book to carry on this
