I was in the mood for a great romance between two different fantastical races. This didn’t have a ton of romance but I feel like the next one will continue the crazy tension between Avery and Derek. I like the unveiling of Avery’s powers and how you get a little more each time she’s put in a situation where her magic is necessary.
