Definitely exceeded my initial expectations as a fictional story! Thoroughly enjoyed the careful intermingling between worlds that Mass crafts, making you absolutely abhor some characters only to reveal their intentions later. I appreciate that love is very carefully wielded here, sex is tastefully woven in as a tool for the plot, and as an adult reader, I appreciate that even there’s no naïveté in the love.
