The Pisces by Melissa Broder

Did not finish book.
The main character was neglecting her dog and at about 70% in I started to think she’d go too far, so I googled it and- yep. I don’t want to read that so I’m not going to finish. The book was actually really good otherwise but I don’t read things aren’t enjoyable, and animal cruelty is not enjoyable. 

ALSO- the MC has been writing a book about Sappho for almost a decade, and there was no mention of anyone LGBT+ anywhere. What???
