We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer

5.0

I am obsessed with this book. Without saying too much, I loved everything about this book, I loved how it ended. I loved how interactive it was to solve the morse code throughout the book. You guys know I love mixed media, and this did it for me πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

There's just a few things that left me scratching my head, though.. and you might ask.. "Julie, how the hell is this 5 stars? If you didn't understand some things?" WELL, let me tell you. In my unprofessional opinion lmao, I think there will be a book 2 πŸ‘€πŸ‘€ and the few unknown things don't really take away from how much I enjoyed reading this book.

I feel like Marcus put my brain in a blender and set the speed to high. It's just a creepy, surreal mind-bendy good time. I wish I could read this for the first time all over again.

Bonus: This made me so nostalgic when I found out this was originally a  r/nosleep. For the longest time, those were the stories I would read daily. Have 15 tabs open and tap them out one by one and then be creeped out all night, LOL.

ALSO!!! this author is a fellow Canadian πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ«ΆπŸ»

Here's me hoping that there will be a book two 🀞🏻🀞🏻
