Out of the Blue by Kathryn Nolan

I can't say I've read a surfer romance before so I loved this take on a sports romance. With Serena being a top elite female surfer, she just scored a big ambassador deal with a sustainable company. The decide to hire her a bodyguard during some large events she will be competing at as a precaution. She wasn't however expecting that the bodyguard would be her ex-husband.

Cope is on thin ice with his job due to a recent blunder so it is important to him to do well. He doesn't plan on disclosing that the client is his wife, yeah paperwork was never completed, so he can spend more time with her.

As Serena starts to receive some threats and some weird things happen, she is glad she has Cope by her side. Cope is determined to keep her safe, and if he gets a second chance to prove to Serena that their chemistry is still worth exploring, than all the better.

They had some scorching hot chemistry and I loved how they were playful with each other. I also like how the book tackled how women are treated in the sport and how Serena was fighting back against it.

I received a free copy from the author, all opinions are my own and given freely.
