On my safari of reading books by directors - this is the one that most felt like a movie, for good and ill, it was tightly plotted and the action simple tense prose - but without the groundwork of having seen the prior movie it would definitely feel too sparse and the movie style ending feels a bit sillier in text than on screen. But fun, more novel sequels please famous directors.
